WisLine Video provides multipoint and gateway services to authorized users of the State of Wisconsin Badgernet Converged Network's High Priority-Low Latency (HPLL) Transport. For applications such as staff training, remote arraignment, telehealth, emergency management, or education; we can provide you with all the same videoconference features we provide Internet-based H.323 sites.
What is HPLL?
HPLL stands for High Priority-Low Latency which describes a network transport type that is highly desirable for quality videoconferencing without interfference from other traffic on the network.
Badgernet converged network provides this transport service to authorized users of the State of Wisconsin data and video network.
Multipoint
When you need to connect with two or more additional videoconference rooms, we provide the multipoint capability you need. Continuous precense modes and lecture modes are available for both incoming (meet-me) and operator dial-out calls, as is our well known technical support staff.
Gateway
We can connect your Bcn HPLL site with sites that are not on the Bcn. Need to connect to a courthouse with an ISDN room, a governenment agency using the Internet or an educational or reserach institution using Internet2? We can do all these and even add in callers using a plain old telephone or cell phone.

To register your site and schedule a techology test to confirm your video room is enabled to connect with our service, send an email to . Please allow at least one week to schedule and test your site prior to your first scheduled video session or event.

If your HPLL Transport circuit gateways into your local area network (LAN), refer to our LAN Recommendations and Firewall Recommendations. However, we suggest HPLL circuits be connected directly to your codec for best video and audio quality.
