About ICS Webcast

What is ICS Webcast?

It's a fully integrated system that allows the capture and recording of audio, video and data, such as PowerPoint slides, in one streamed media presentation. It automatically syncs a speaker's video with the delivery of his or her support data - such as graphics, slides, videotapes or DVDs - into one single, seamless presentation.

Presentations created with ICS Webcast can be presented live, so attendees can log in to an event URL and see and hear the presentation as it is happening, or presentations can be recorded and archived for later, on-demand viewing and distribution, either on CDs or on the Web.

Interactivity

Live presentations can be made even more dynamic by using the interactivity tools built into the system: Viewers can click a button to submit a text question to the presenter. The presenter can then choose to answer the question via email or verbally during the live presentation.

Polling allows presenters to poll their participants online. Again, the attendees just select a button, and respond online to a survey question. After taking a poll, viewers can see the poll's results online.

Features

It's easy for presenters to use. Presenters don't need to modify the way they present. They can simply plug in to the system and let it do all the work.

There's no need for any special preparation or scripting. Presenters can concentrate on their content and not on the "production."

You can host live or on-demand, archived presentations. Presentations are available via web browsers at any time and anywhere.

It's cost-effective. No extra expenses are involved for travel or design, and content can be preserved and re-used.

It's versatile. ICS Webcast can capture and integrate a wide range of content and digital formats. Document cameras, digital photos, graphics tablets, videotapes, DVDs, web sites, and videoconferences can all be part of a presentation. Your presentation becomes much more that a PowerPoint slide show.

It's easy for the end users. Participants don't need anything more than a web browser and media viewer.

It's portable. You can present from any room in The Pyle Center using ICS's webcasting system.
