Hello. My name is Susan Speth and I’m the Web Site Developer on the Web Team at Instructional Communications Systems, here at the University of Wisconsin-Extension. During the next few minutes I’d like to tell you just a bit about our Web Team and the services we can provide.

With over ten years of experience in developing and designing web sites, the ICS Web Team is ready to assist you in the creation of web sites tailored to your needs. We have the knowledge and skills to make your vision a reality, whether you need a simple web site with a few pages of content or a complex, database driven web application with exceptional graphics and animation.

We share our expertise in a friendly and open manner. By listening to your priorities, and using our knowledge of successful web site design, we can provide custom solutions for your project.

We value web accessibility and can provide alternate formats for sites with rich media applications. We work with our colleagues in ICS who provide digital duplication and studio services, deliver audio and video streaming, and support distance education and teleconferencing events. When you work with the ICS Web Team, you'll find we meet the agreed upon deadlines and complete the project within budget.

Some of the web sites we’ve worked on are:

  • The UW-Extension Conference Centers web site – Helping visitors find the information they need about The Pyle Center and The Lowell Center.
  • The Distance Education Clearinghouse – A comprehensive and internationally recognized distance education resource first available on the web in 1995
  • DistanceLearning.Wisconsin – information about distance learning courses and programs offered by the University of Wisconsin System campuses.
  • Portalwisconsin.org – An arts, culture and humanities portal for the state of Wisconsin.
  • IDEAS.wisconsin.edu. – Offering curriculum resources aligned with Wisconsin’s Academic Standards to educators across the state.
  • Quality Educator Interactive – A professional development portal for Wisconsin educators, and
  • Datacastwisconsin.org – A web site supporting Wisconsin Public Television’s datacasting initiative

Those are some of the sites we’ve enjoyed developing with our colleagues and partners. Please let us know how we can help you.
