Tips and Requirements to Attend
Hardware/Software Requirements
View the hardware and software requirements for Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007.
Presenters, Only
Presenters need all of the above, PLUS PCs with at least 256 MB of RAM (it is recommended that presenters NOT use a Mac).
Browser Check
You can verify that you have the appropriate browser configuration by completing the Live Meeting browser check. The browser check will give a return page with instructions in how to configure your browser to use WisLine Web, if necessary.
We strongly suggest that you do this as soon as possible before your conference to allow time, if necessary, to make any changes in your browser or system. You may need to consult your IT staff for assistance with your browser configuration.
Setting Up Your Browser
You must enable Java and Java script in your browser. If your browser does not have Java enabled, you will receive directions when you run the browser check (see above). IF your browser is not Java-enabled, you will not be able to participate.
Connecting to Audio
Audio is provided through the WisLine teleconference service. All you need is a speakerphone (preferably with a mute feature) or a headset for your phone (for your comfort and to eliminate background noise). Dial in to the conference phone number provided to you and enter the conference code number followed by the # sign when prompted.
Connecting to Data
1) Simply click on the link provided in your confirmation email, or if the link is not active in your email program, you can copy the link and paste it into the address window of your browser. Alternatively, you can go to: www.livemeeting.com/cc/wislineweb and enter your Name, the Meeting ID, and the Meeting Password (if required) in the boxes provided and click "Enter."
2) You will be directed to a new window. Fill in your email address and your organization's name and click "Submit." You will be directed to your conference. Be patient. It may take a few minutes for the conference window to load, depending upon your Internet connection speed.
3) Wait for your conference to begin.
