The New Year at Milk Money

As the New Year arrives it seems fitting to reconnect to all who have been a part of Milk Money over the last few years. Producers and agriprofessionals, team leaders and team members: all have been very important to the growth of the Milk Money program and its efforts to increase the quality of milk produced in Wisconsin.

As the Milk Money program grows, we will continue to reach out to producers, providing them with Milk Money's team-based tools to assist in improving milk quality on Wisconsin Dairies.

Pam Ruegg, DVM, MPVM, Extension Milk Quality Specialist at the University of Wisconsin, is the Project Director of the Milk Money Team. Through her efforts and working relationship with the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Milk Money was piloted as a team-based program to assist producers in increasing the quality of they milk they produce. To date, over 400 farms have participated in the Milk Money team process.
