4-H Gateway Academy sites expand to reach 500 middle school students with science, technology, engineering and math learning opportunities this summer

RACINE—University of Wisconsin Colleges and University of Wisconsin-Extension Chancellor David Wilson and Kern Family Foundation President James Rahn on Thursday announced the expansion of the 4-H Gateway Academy to 20 sites, with the potential to reach 500 middle-schoolers around the state this summer.

Statewide Challenge Encourages Schools to Boost Breakfast Participation

MADISON, WIS.--The University of Wisconsin-Extension and the state Department of Public Instruction are challenging Wisconsin schools to increase their student participation in school breakfast programs by 50 percent during the 2008-09 school year.
