University of Wisconsin-Extension Conference Centers announced the launch of its new Web site, http://www.uwex.edu/ecc. While using the same address as its predecessor, the new site sports a more current look, and includes a variety of new features not present in the previous site.

"The new site allows us to highlight the unique features of Extension's conference centers," said Stephanie Sabo, Friedrick Center Director. "Our previous site, while quite extensive, began to look dated and was not organized to provide easy access to information. The new site contains better graphics, easier navigation methods and more features for prospective users and students."

Set to debut on Tuesday, April 18, the new site boasts extensive use of photos, a new search engine, catering menus and information, frequently asked questions, and current news. In addition, each conference center has a revamped page which includes more participant information on lodging, weather and directions.

Sabo feels the web site is a key to the future of Extension's conference centers. She commented that, "Without an effective web site to address the needs of prospects, participants and users alike, we are not serving the needs of the market. We strive to provide everything our clients will ever need on the site, and believe this approach is indicative of our overall desire to provide the highest level of service in the industry. Our previous site set the standard for this type of service, and our new site takes us to the next level."
