This summer you can learn what your dreams mean, participate in Latin dancing, and plan for your retirement. These topics and dozens of other are available at University of Wisconsin-Extension's 38th annual College Days June 5-7 on the UW-Madison campus.
College Days participants may choose from more than 30 workshop and seminar options, including digital photography, care for the caregiver, archeology, African oral traditions, and basic drawing techniques.
New York Times-bestselling novelist Jacquelyn Mitchard, author of The Deep End of the Ocean, will be the luncheon keynote speaker. Mitchard, whose novel was the first book chosen for Oprah Winfrey's Book Club, will share how writing has been intrinsic to facing challenges and risks in her life.The Wednesday evening program will be the Yahara River Chorus, a mix of women of all ages and all walks of life who perform four-part harmonies in barbershop style.
Participants may stay in the UW-Madison dorms. Conference cost is $99 for all three days, or $45 for June 6 only. Meals and lodging are extra. The luncheon with keynote address is optional and costs $12.
