With pageantry, showmanship, and athletic and musical ability combined, Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) offers statewide viewers the high-stepping and high-energy of drum and bugle corps competitors at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, when it airs Drum Corps International Championships 2001.
The live competition comes from Buffalo, N.Y. and brings young musicians from every part of the country to what they term the ¿Super Bowl¿ of this activity.
WPT is a service of the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board and University of Wisconsin-Extension.
