As deer hunting-season opens next month, Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) marks the occasion with a special edition of Outdoor Wisconsin, airing 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13.

Join host Dan Small as he talks with Department of Natural Resources (DNR) officials about their expectations for the upcoming deer-hunting season. Officials also will provide an update on Chronic Wasting Disease, which has plagued Wisconsin's whitetail population and damaged the hunting economy.

DNR officials detail the issues at odds in the baiting and feeding debate, as well as provide helpful hunting tips to make this year's season successful. Tune in to learn hunter safety, rules and regulations from the experts.
