The Pyle Center to Host National K-12 Educators' Videoconference

The Pyle Center in Madison, Wisconsin, will host educators from around the state for the first nationally accessible, K-12 interactive videoconferencing conference and event on October 25 and 26.

The Keystone Conference is a national conference created as a venue to demonstrate and discuss best practices in interactive video in K-12 education. It will help leaders to identify and address common concerns in videoconferencing, and will foster a collaborative group of advocates to establish and promote quality standards both for the technology and the learning experience via technology.

The conference attendees will learn how videoconferencing can be used to motivate and inspire students and educators to reach beyond the limitations of local resources and enable enhanced educational opportunities for all.

The conference is being held in Indianapolis, but the conference breakout sessions will be available live to locations throughout the country via interactive video. UW-Extension’s Instructional Communications Systems (ICS) has partnered with WiscNet to provide the conference at The Pyle Center for all interested Wisconsin educators.

ICS will provide video bridging services for the conference, connecting more than 40 locations from 13 states to the conference in Indianapolis, and WiscNet is providing registration support.

For more information about the conference and a complete agenda, go to the conference website at http://www.keystoneconference.org . Wisconsin educators interested in attending the event at The Pyle Center can register at the site by following the WISCONSIN remote registration link.
