- Study tour to highlight land use programs in three eastern states

MADISON, Wis.—Are you interested in getting a first-hand look at some of the most innovative land use programs in the country? The University of Wisconsin- Extension and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection are coordinating a six-day rolling classroom through Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania called the Ultimate Land Use Study Tour. Participants can learn how growth management and farmland protection programs have been implemented in these states and see the results first-hand.

NEILLSVILLE, Wis.-"Households with an income less than $24,500 for 2005 may qualify for Wisconsin's Homestead Credit," says Gayle Rose Martinez, University of Wisconsin-Extension Family Living Educator for Clark County. The Homestead Credit is a tax credit for renters and homeowners with low or moderate incomes.
