Nov 6 Webinar to Discuss Urgent Harvest, Storage, and Feed Management Issues for the 2009 Crop

Madison, Wis. – In response to the weather that is threatening the fall harvest, University of Wisconsin-Extension specialists and county agriculture agents from the Grains Team are hosting a special webinar on Friday, November 6th from 8:00am until 10am.

The webinar, titled “"Harvest, Storage, and Feed Management Considerations for the 2009 Crop" will feature key management decisions, as well as provide participants an opportunity to ask questions about the potential economic impact on farm profitability. The webinar will also address the challenges that Wisconsin corn and soybean growers are facing, with a particular emphasis on local concerns.

The webinar is being hosted by local county Extension offices with the support of University of Wisconsin-Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources. The session will also provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions about the substantial impacts on farm profitability.

Nutritionists, crop consultants, feed dealers, farm supply agronomists, producers and other agriculture professionals are encouraged to attend.
