Phase I of the www.uwex.edu revitalization was completed in April 2008.
Key finding: The Web site receives a lot of traffic, but users are confused about who we are and have significant problems finding the information they need.

What aspects of uwex.edu will change and what will remain the same?

Feedback from surveys of stakeholders, clients, and external audiences will help us determine what aspects of the Web site will change.
As of now, here is what will change:
- Home page
- Top-level pages: jobs, news, about us
- Employee pages
- Administrative sites: i.e. business services, payroll, governance
What will not change:
- Division/unit Web sites (wpt.org, uwex.edu/ces, wisconsinsbdc.org, etc.)
- UW Colleges Web sites (www.uwc.edu)
- Integrated Web sites (uwex.uwc.edu)

Welcome. Thanks for taking an interest in our efforts to improve the functionality, accessibility, usability and design of www.uwex.edu. Updates on the work of the redesign team will be posted here. Please dialogue with us during this process.
This project is a collaboration between Central IT, University Relations and our users.
The current UW-Extension website was developed nearly four years ago. By early 2009, we will be putting the finishing touches on a brand new site.
