Jeannie Leggett Sikora has served as a consultant to the residential construction industry since 1997. Ms. Sikora’s area of expertise is energy and resource efficiency; she has a diverse background in providing outreach to the residential and agricultural sectors. For seven years prior to starting her own company, Ms. Sikora worked on residential energy efficiency and green building projects for the NAHB Research Center, where she authored Profit from Building Green.

 

Ms. Sikora’s experience as an educator in the agricultural field included positions in cooperative extension at Penn State and the University of Wisconsin. In those positions, she developed educational publications on rural energy issues and delivered educational programs about energy use in agriculture. She holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S. degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.

 

Ms. Sikora lives in Millersville, Pennsylvania with her husband and two sons.
