Jennifer Hermans

                 Jennifer received her bachelors in Biology and Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, which led her to teaching high school chemistry at Green Bay West High School for two years.  Interest in energy issues inspired her subsequent thesis work and research assistantship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on ethanol and biodiesel coproduct use in livestock feed.  Since completing her Master's degree in Land Resources with an Energy Analysis and Policy emphasis in 2006, Jennifer has been employed as an energy analyst with GDS Associates, Inc. in Madison, WI. As an energy analyst, Jennifer works with agricultural producers to determine energy saving measures that can be implemented on Wisconsin farms.  She also works as an adjunct faculty member for the K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP), where she teaches energy-based curriculum ideas as part of continuing education classes for teachers.
