Jill Grodecki
Jill Grodecki was an undergraduate research assistant for the UWMRIL from 2001-2003. She assisted with laboratory activities, including website development, robotic milking research, and outreach activities. In May 2003, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering and a certificate in Environmental Studies. Working at the MRIL sparked her interest in environmental issues facing dairy farmers and inspired her to write a research paper entitled "Anaerobic Digesters on Wisconsin dairy Farms: An Analysis of Biogas for Energy Generation," which was recognized for the Steuber Prize for Excellence in Writing. While at UW-Madison she was active in the American Society of Agricultural Engineers Preprofessionals, the Society of Women Engineers, and Sigma Alpha professional agricultural sorority. In her free time, she enjoys volunteer work, cooking, outdoor activities, and being a Badger fan.
