Nancy K. Armbrust

Vice President for Education & Community Relations Schreiber Foods (Green Bay)

Since 1982, Nancy Armbrust has been with Schreiber Foods, Inc., a $2 billion-plus global enterprise with 4,200 employees and the world's largest privately held cheese company, providing products to the fast-food, grocery-chain and wholesalers' industries. She previously held positions as Vice President of Human Resources and Manager of Employee Relations. A specialist in human resource management and career and organizational development, Armbrust has also held management positions at Schneider Transport (now Schneider National), UW-Extension and the Pillsbury Company. Under her leadership, Schreiber Foods was named Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation of the Year in 2002.

Armbrust has been generous with her involvement in community service, and currently serves on public and corporate boards and commissions for organizations including the Ashwabenon Police and Fire Commission, Bellin Health Systems, Governor's Council on Workforce Investment, Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Green Bay Area Public Schools, United Way, UW-Green Bay's Institute for Learning Partnership, and Wisconsin Council on Children and Families' Educational TV Productions Ð Northeast Wisconsin.

She served as a 4-H Youth Development Agent in the 1970s and her contributions were recognized as a Friend of UW-Extension in 2000.

Armbrust holds a bachelor's degree in food science from Iowa State University, and has continued her professional educational advancement with graduate study at the University of Minnesota and Columbia University. Her husband, Scott, is owner of Pardocs Embryo Transfer, Inc. The couple has two sons, Matt (22) and Kurt (18).
