Carol Ward Knox

Carol Ward Knox has been with Morgan & Myers since its founding in 1982. Based in Jefferson, Morgan & Myers is an integrated (communications, public relations, advertising, change management, community relations and corporate communications) marketing firm specializing in the agricultural, food and business-to-business markets. She heads the change management practice, drawing on her expertise in crisis management, media training, political and government relations, strategic counseling and plan development.
Recently, Ward Knox won the Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America for directing a community relations program that helped a southern Wisconsin school district win approval for a major building initiative. She has also received recognition for her research in "Sensible Agriculture for the Environment" and in community relations.
Ward Knox has contributed her expertise to the boards of the Wisconsin Taxpayer Alliance; Fort Memorial Hospital Foundation; Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters; Wisconsin Rural Leadership Program; UW-Madison College of Agriculture and Life Sciences; and Wisconsin's Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. She has served as campaign consultant for several successful Wisconsin legislative candidates, and was press secretary for Robert Kasten's successful congressional campaign.
She has a degree in journalism from UW-Madison and is the author of The Growing of America, a book about the history of American agriculture.
