Phil Neuenfeldt

Phil Neuenfeldt is currently the Executive Co-Chair of the Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership. He works with various unions to develop strategies and programs to upgrade workplace skills and to address changes in technology and the economy. Some of these programs are national models. He also has worked with the Human Resource and Development Institute of the National AFL-CIO to provide assistance to unions in the United States and Canada.
Neuenfeldt began working in manufacturing in 1990. As an active member of the Machinists Union, he held various local union posts, including President of the steward body and Chair of the bargaining committee. He also has served as Director of the HIRE Milwaukee Center and the Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership for the State AFL-CIO.
He serves as Vice President of the Wisconsin Technical College Board, and is involved in developing and directing a large nonprofit housing organization in Milwaukee. He is a veteran and the father of three children.
