The Wisconsin land cover map—which features forested lands, wetlands, cultivated lands, and urban areas—is now on sale. The map, which measures 42 by 50 inches, includes a nontechnical explanation of some of the features of Wisconsin’s land cover and how those features came to be. This map should be of interest to educators, students, and those who enjoy the outdoors—anyone curious about the patterns of the Wisconsin landscape. The full-color map, which previously was $10, is now priced at $5 per copy, plus applicable sales tax and shipping charges.
