Land and Water Outreach Program Manager

The Land and Water Outreach Program Manager provides leadership in developing and coordinating Extension programming related to land and water resources, as well as providing support for programs dealing with specialized topics such as invasive species or forestry. This program resides within the UW-Extension, Cooperative Extension Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Natural Resources Institute. This position plans, implements, and evaluates research and educational programs related to natural resources management. Relevant subject matter could include strategic partnerships, financial planning, grant opportunities, and operational oversight of natural resources programming, including land, forestry, and water resources.
 

The Land and Water Outreach Program Manager reports directly to the Natural Resources Institute Director for management and supervision, hiring and employment authority, employment changes, compensation and benefits, supplies and expense budget, development of their plan of work, and performance reviews.
