National 4-H Shooting Sports Invitational Team
Qualifying for National (NQE) Information
Youth interested in qualifying for Wisconsin’s National 4-H Shooting Sports Invitational Team will need to compete in 4-H Shooting Sports Competitive shoots one year to be considered for the Wisconsin team the following year. Several 4-H Shooting Sports competitive events are used to determine who will represent Wisconsin on the National Invitational Team. Details may be found at Qualification Guidelines for the National 4-H Shooting Sports Invitational. Information on specific disciplines offered at various 4-H Shooting Sports events in Wisconsin are listed at WI Qualifying Requirements for the 4-H National Invitational Shoot. Registration information for shooting sports events scheduled to date is located here. Qualifying Shoots are designated as NQE (National Qualifying Event).
Those who meet the national age requirement will automatically have their qualifying scores submitted to the state for consideration on the Wisconsin Team. For example: If you shoot in the required number of statewide events for your discipline(s) in 2014, you will receive an application in November 2014 for the 2015 National Invitational that takes place in the summer of 2015.
