- Doctorate and master's degree in continuing and vocational education
from UW-Madison (1985).
- Bachelor's degree in home economics education from University of
Wisconsin-Madison (1974).
Previous Professional Experience
Laurie joined Extension in 1976. She has served as an Extension home
economist and program specialist. Laurie was appointed State Program Leader
in May, 1998.
Highlights of Current Assignments and Programs
- University of Wisconsin-Extension Family Living Programs is committed
to helping build strong families and strengthening communities. Cooperative
Extension programs in Family Living help communities become better places
for families to live by helping develop local programs and policies
that strengthen families. Family Living programs help people build and
take ownership of their communities. Communities use Family Living resources
to serve families more effectively and solve problems together.
