Alberta Online Consortium
AOC is a Canadian national organization "focused on effective online practices and supporting flexible learning models." Their growing web site includes links to areas concerned with courseware/learning objects, professional development opportunities, K-12 research and featured articles, as well as descriptions of other specific projects. Membership options to AOC are identified. -
American Center for the Study of Distance Education (ACSDE)
Penn State's American Center for the Study of Distance Education (ACSDE) was founded in 1986 to study and disseminate information about distance education in all its forms. ACSDE is being reorganized. The Resources page and DEOSNEWS archives will continue to be available, and DEOS-L will continue to operate. All other services are temporarily suspended. -
American Distance Education Consortium (ADEC)
ADEC is a national consortium of state universities and land grant institutions providing high quality and economic distance education programs and services via the latest and most appropriate information technologies. -
Annenberg/CPB Project

International Telecommunications Users Group (INTUG)
INTUG, the International Telecommunications Users Group, is a non-profit association of national telecommunications users associations. INTUG was founded in 1974 to act as a single voice for users of telecommunications. Currently, INTUG represents 21 National Users Associations and has, as Associate Members, some large corporations, using telecommunications services worldwide. -

National ITFS Association
The National ITFS Association, established in 1978, is a non-profit, professional organization of ITFS licensees, applicants and others interested in ITFS activities. University Continuing Education Association (UCEA)
Founded in 1915, the University Continuing Education Association (formerly the National University Continuing Education Association) is among the oldest college and university associations, and the principal organization for continuing higher education in the United States. -
Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications
The Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications (WCET), founded by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education in 1989, is a membership-supported organization open to providers and users of educational telecommunications. Members represent the higher education community, nonprofit organizations, schools, and corporations. -
World Association for Online Education (WAOE)
An international professional organization concerned with online pedagogy. WAOE offers membership services relevant to educators concerned with teaching online, public services for international society, and collaboration with other educational organizations functioning in cyberspace.
