It is written by Dr. Barry Willis and was designed to help teachers, administrators, facilitators, and students understand distance education. A lecture by Dr. Michael G. Moore, former director of The American Center for Study of Distance Education and editor of The American Journal of Distance Education. The presentation was given at the UOC Virtual University on June 6, 2001. From the abstract: "[Dr Moore] concludes in the end that traditional education will co-exist with distance education, although the latter will be, in the near future, predominant in the field of professional, liberal and vocational lifelong learning." -
