  Join our team at Instructional Communications Systems (ICS), based in the Pyle Center -- UW-Extension's premier distance education and conferencing center. Help us leverage technology to enhance teaching and learning and foster communications. We provide professional support services to statewide faculty, staff and organizations using a range of distance education and multimedia services. You will supervise overall ICS technical operations and manage quality control of multiple statewide tools and services, working closely with staff and customers to also develop and implement new and improved services.   A large database of jobs concentrating on open positions in higher education and includes specific section on relating to continuing and distance education.
• Inside Higher Ed Jobs Database
  This free site provides news and commentary about higher education. The Jobs Section includes a search engine where users may search the database of openings for keywords such as 'distance education' or other related terms.
• Jobs in Online Education
  As part of their Virtual University Gazette Newsletter, GetEducated.com provides a listing "Jobs Available" and "Talent Available" for those interested in online teaching. There is no charge to individuals, however companies seeking to hire may have to pay an advertising fee. Listings are included in each issue of the newsletter.
• TedJob.com
  Tedjob.com includes jobs from the higher education job marketplace. It was designed to meet the recruitment requirement needs for universities, colleges, and other academic organizations. Searching options for distance learning opportunities is by key word only. Searching categories include topic area, type of position and location. In some situations, fees may apply.
• USDLA Career Opportunities
  The USDLA (United States Distance Learning Association) Web site maintains descriptions and listings of job opportunities all relating directly to distance education. Complete job descriptions are often available for the posted position. The USDLA Journal also includes a section on available positions.
• WCET Online Community: Announce a Job
  This Jobs Announcement service is only for members of WCET (Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications ). Only job title and contact information is provided to those without login access, however a large number of positions are listed.
