Distance Education and Training Council
DETC sponsors a nationally recognized accrediting agency called the "Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council." DETC has accredited members in Canada, Ireland, Japan, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. - E-Learning Instructional Design Certificate Program

IACET Guidelines for Distance Education
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training is a non-profit association dedicated to quality continuing education and training programs. The IACET Distance Learning Guidelines addresses a growing concern about defining and maintaining quality in distance education programs. - Research Channel/University of Washington Production Training Resources
Training seminars in video/Internet production and distribution to participating institutions are available. The TV Wasteland Zone, The Talent Zone, The Convergence Zone and The Videoconference Zone are samples of materials used in seminars. -
Training Resources for Videoconferencing
The University of Wisconsin-Extension has developed several training tools and workshops for those interested in developing or enhancing their skills in teaching or training via videoconference.
