FEATURED NETWORKS

Embarrass River Valley Instructional Network Group (ERVING)

We have been providing distance education programs since:   ERVING has provided distance education programs since 1992.

Number of member sites:   We have 8 member sites.

Our member sites are located in these Wisconsin counties:   Member sites are located in Waupaca and Shawano counties.

Audiences attending our programs include:   Mainly high schools students with middle school and elementary students attending special events. We also offer a number of adult programs for staff and community members.

Our favorite tip for distance education teachers is:   "Using a communication tool like Nicenet, Think.com or Moodle will enhance your experience when dealing with students at a distance. It not only allows you to communicate with them , it allows them to communicate with each other."
-Kathi Taylor, Menominee Indian School District

An interesting thing about our network is:   All members of our network operate on a common bell schedule.

At our network, we try our best to:   Promote distance learning as a delivery method which offers expanded opportunites for students of all ages.
