George Kroeninger

Assistant Dean, Program Development

UW-Extension

George serves as assistant dean for program development for the Continuing Education division of the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Through Continuing Education offices on 26 campuses, UW-Extension resources reach people across Wisconsin and around the globe. George plays a leadership role in providing education opportunities that put students on a path to success.

George has 25 years experience in leadership, communication, fundraising, program development and management in for-profit, nonprofit and higher education organizations. Most recently, he served as director of continuing education at UW-Eau Claire.

He earned his Master of Public Health from the University of Northern Colorado with specializations in health education and public health administration. Previously, he earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, majoring in adult health and fitness/exercise physiology with a concentration in business administration. His certifications include Certified Contract Trainer (CCT) through the Learning Resources Network and Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
