Tom Still
President
Wisconsin Technology Council

Tom Still is President of the Wisconsin Technology Council (WTC), an independent, nonprofit organization that serves as the science and technology advisor to the Governor and the Legislature and as a catalyst for technology-based economic development in Wisconsin.
Still is also President of the Wisconsin Innovation Network Foundation, managed by the Technology Council, and is responsible for supporting efforts (conferences and other informational gatherings) to foster technology development in the state. He is former Associate Editor of the Wisconsin State Journal, and he continues to write a weekly political column, "Inside Wisconsin," that is syndicated in 21 Wisconsin publications. He is also a political columnist for Corporate Report/Wisconsin magazine and his writings often appear in other publications.
Still is a member of the Governor's Economic Growth Council and serves on the advisory board for UW-Madison's Consortium for Global e-Commerce and the College of Engineering's Industrial Advisory Board.
He was founder and president of "We the People/Wisconsin, Inc.," a civic journalism partnership involving the Wisconsin State Journal, Wisconsin Public Television and Radio, WISC-TV and Wood Communications Group. The partnership has sponsored more than 45 rounds of citizen forums in Wisconsin.
Still is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and attended the UW-Madison Law School.
